1. Information collected
The launch list collects your email address, your privacy consent, campaign parameters and advertising click identifiers attached to the link you used. We also record whether your one-time website website review pass was emailed and redeemed. The contact form may collect your name, email, topic and message. Hosting systems may also process standard technical and security logs.
2. Why it is used
- Send launch and availability updates you requested.
- Respond to questions, privacy requests and accessibility feedback.
- Understand which launch campaigns brought a registration without using advertising cookies.
- Protect the website and form from misuse.
- Issue and verify one complimentary website review pass per waitlist email.
3. Legal basis and choice
Launch updates are sent on the basis of the consent you give when joining. You can withdraw that consent or ask to leave the list at any time through the contact form. Where applicable law provides additional rights, you may also request access, correction, deletion or information about use.
4. Service providers
Netlify hosts this website and runs its server functions. Caprigrow also uses database and email-delivery providers to store waitlist registrations, prevent duplicate rewards and deliver welcome emails. Information may be handled in locations where Caprigrow or its providers operate, subject to the protections required by applicable law.
5. Retention
Launch-list information is kept until launch communications finish, you withdraw consent or it is no longer needed. Contact messages are kept only as long as needed to respond, maintain appropriate records and meet legal obligations.
6. Security
Reasonable technical and organisational measures are used to protect submitted information. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
7. Cookies and analytics
Caprigrow currently uses no analytics, advertising or preference cookies. See the Cookie Notice for more detail.
8. Website health checks and payments
Where Google review comparison is available in a paid report, we send the public business name, website address, category and location to Google Maps Platform after verifying payment. Google returns public listing details and selected reviews. These results are displayed temporarily, with source and reviewer attribution, and are not stored in saved reports or downloads. We keep a purchase reference, request time and completion status to enforce usage limits. Reviewer images are loaded from Google's image service when displayed. Google's handling of this data is covered by the Google Privacy Policy.
To suggest competitors, we send a limited extract of public website content, the business name and its public service area to Google's Gemini API. We check suggested businesses against their public websites before including them. Google's free API tier may use submitted content to improve its products; see Google's Gemini API terms. We also send the public business name and location to OpenStreetMap's Nominatim service to look for a matching listing. Matching listing summaries are cached for up to 24 hours; empty lookups for up to four hours. These checks do not access private accounts.
If you run a website health check, Caprigrow processes the public URL you provide and retrieves a limited set of public pages to produce the report. An encrypted audit token may be kept in your browser session so you can continue to checkout. Caprigrow does not ask for website credentials. If paid reports are enabled, HitPay processes the checkout and payment details. Caprigrow stores a limited order record containing the selected report, price, currency, payment reference and payment status, but does not receive your full card details.
If you choose to save a paid report to your email, Caprigrow verifies that inbox, stores a hashed version of the email address and keeps the report access token so the same paid report can be reopened later. The public database record does not use an open scan number that visitors can guess.
9. Contact
Use the contact form and choose “Privacy” for questions or requests about personal information.
